I’m Ilana Ewing, a Brazilian designer, and illustrator living in Scotland, I’ve always been a creative person and a dreamer, drawing was part of me since I can remember and I was one of those people who always carried a pencil and paper to draw wherever I went. During my teens, I got involved in designing ballet costumes and had a taste in fashion design too. In my early twenties took a different direction and studied business management.

The years passed and I started designing Eco-Jewellery and opened 2 shops in Edinburgh and in the Borders during my eight years in retail I rediscover my love for illustration and where I designed my first collection of cards. Initially, the cards were printed for my shop only and they grow from there.

In my work, you can see my love for colours and a soft spot for birds and flowers. Nature has provided me with an endless source of inspiration. I love learning new skills so my work is constantly evolving.
